Employee Details
 
Details fields are optional.  Filling out these fields can give you quick access to employee's information such as address and phone number.
 
Social Security Number (SSN) can be used for integration purposes.  For example if you payroll system indexes employee by the SSN, you might want to use it to transfer payroll data.
 
Hourly Rate can be assigned in order to run a Time Card report and have MTC calculate employee's salary. 
 
Hourly Rate and Social Security Number are marked as private fields to insure that not all users have access to this information.  If you want to restrict users to view these fields, then do not give View Private Details permission to these users in User Management.

Employment Date

  Date when employee started to work

Termination Date

  Date when employee was terminated.  When you initially add employee, this field is disabled.  It will only become enabled after you deactivate this employee.

Hourly Rate

  Employee’s hourly rate

Date of Birth

  Employee’s date of birth

Address

  Employee’s address

Social Security Number

  Employee’s social security number

Phone Numbers

  Employee’s phone numbers

  Name and phone number of the emergency contact person
